By Lynn Ponder: Happy to inform our social community that Domino’s Pizza is giving consumers with gluten sensitivities a new choice! The pizza restaurant is introducing Gluten Free Crust in all of its nearly 5,000 U.S. stores and becoming the first national pizza delivery chain to offer such a product.
“Offering Domino’s Gluten Free Crust is a big step for us,” said Patrick Doyle, Domino’s Pizza president and chief executive officer. “Gluten sensitivity is an issue that also affects our Hispanic customers, which is the reason we are delighted to offer an option to those families facing this condition. It is important to make educated choices and empower the gluten sensitive community with the information they need.”
Domino’s new Gluten Free Crust is available in stores across the U.S. in a small, 10-inch size only, and prices vary by store.
Domino’s new Gluten Free Crust provides a great-tasting option for consumers who previously could not enjoy pizza from the recognized world leader in pizza delivery because of sensitivity to gluten – a protein found in wheat, rye and barley.
Domino’s has posted a video on YouTube that allows customers to decide whether this product is suitable for their diet. Meet Patrick Doyle, Domino’s CEO:
