By Lynn Ponder: If there is a beauty brand that talks the talk and walks the walk with their marketing and public relations initiatives it is L’Oréal Paris. What I mean is that their every move follows the same elegance and originality through every piece of their stunning advertising with Eva Longoria, JLo, Lea Michele, Julianna Margulies and newest in Latin America super-model Isabeli Fontana. This all became even more evident as I attended a beautiful L’Oréal Paris Miami Event for the unveiling of NEW collection with guests experts/celebrity makeup and hairstylist Marcos Carrasquillo, Claudia Betancur and dermatologist Dr. Flor Mayoral revealing insiders’ beauty secrets. At the end of this lovely event I received an amaZing goodie bag ☺

The outstanding event venue lived up to Steven Waldberg, L’Oréal Paris Marketing Director expectations as he confessed that in previous trips had tried to enter Club at Casa Tua private club with no luck, but this event made it all possible and I have to say the perfect choice.

As digital influencers and media gathered to learn about the NEW L’Oréal Paris collection, we were also greeted by exquisite jewelry designer JeuxDeVie who gracefully invited us to pick 3 different pieces as gifts..THANK YOU! I will be receiving my picks in the mail soon…can’t wait as jewelry design theme was about LOVE and lately LOVE is in the air in my life ☺

L’Oréal Paris also shared the fact that they partnered up with the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) and are on a quest to help prevent melanoma and raise funds for life-saving research. L’Oréal Paris has committed to giving $1 for each bottle sold from their Sublime Sun SPF Collection to the Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA). This is great news as the latest stats from MRA are not that positive:

• Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer
• 1 person dies every hour in the US from melanoma
• More than 76,000 Americans are diagnosed with Melanoma each year
• 99% of skin cancer patients survive with early detection

A [STUDY] conducted by Kelton finds that while the majority of American women are aware of melanoma, over half give themselves a “C” or lower when grading their healthy sun care habits.
