By Linda Ponder: I was invited by Lincoln Motor Company to Discover a Miami that I had never seen. There are good ideas and then there are great ideas. In my opinion, Lincoln Hello, Again City Tour of Miami, was a very creative campaign that gave me a new perspective on how I can look at art, music, design and film in a new light.
The tour, deemed the Lincoln Hello, Again experience, is offering Miami residents the opportunity to re-experience the Design District/Wynwood neighborhoods. Come on and check-out the interesting stops I experienced:
Our first stop art installations by EVOCA1: Sketches For mankind Project, who raise awareness to emerging important local and world issues through art, while raising funds to aid those in need in local communities and abroad.
Living in Miami “el cafecito cubano” is a must so sure enough we had a stop at Panther Coffee for a Turbo Cupping Experience. A Miami-based specialty coffee roaster, retailer and wholesaler specializing in the small–batch roasting of coffee beans and the preparation of coffee beverages. Super ricoooo!
Next stop tied into a Miami tradition; Wynwood Cigar Factory part of the Fabricas Unidas family in Wynwood art district of Miami. The concept of the Wynwood Cigar Factory came from the minds of Robert Caldwell and Christian Elroa and features a unique environment for cigar smokers and art lovers alike.
Enjoyed the next stop an art drive curated at RAW natural born artists, an independent arts organization that hand-selects and spotlights independent creatives in visual art, film, fashion, music, hair & makeup artistry, photography, models and performing art. The mission is to provide up and coming artists of all creative realms with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity so that they might be seen, heard and loved.
You can still have this experience until June 11 and I can assure you that you will enjoy driving the all-new 2013 Lincoln MKZ remarkable car and learning more about the new wave of Miami. Following is the invite with all the info but you can also check the Lincoln Hello, Again City Tour of Miami site here!
