MundoFox announced that “El Factor X” will premiere on Monday July 29th. Following the massive success of “The X Factor” in the U.S. and around the world, this original Spanish-language version will feature young contestants from 8 to 15 years old and will give U.S. Latino viewers the opportunity to choose the next young Latino superstar or breakout music group. The globally renowned show will air on MundoFox Monday through Friday at 7PM/6C.
Recently, the show’s host, Poncho de Anda, and the four judges—award-winning Latin recording artists Belinda, Chino & Nacho, and Latin American television and music icon, “La Novia de México” (Mexico’s Sweetheart), Angélica María—traveled to and searched various key U.S. cities, and succeeded in finding young, charismatic, and talented Hispanic singers from all over the U.S. to appear on “El Factor X”.
“El Factor X” is a production by FremantleMedia Latin America for MundoFox. The music competition format is a worldwide phenomenon with more than 500 million viewers across 17 countries. “The X Factor” format is owned by Syco, a global music, television and film production joint venture between Simon Cowell and Sony Music Entertainment.
