Latin urban superstars Alexis y Fido, known for their street savvy lyrics and catchy rhythms, join Radio Shack for a music contest leading up to the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards for which they are nominated in five categories. Fans can help choose an Emerging Artist Perform at an Upcoming Alexis y Fido Concert by casting their votes through Radio Shack’s Music Lab Contest.
Radio Shack Music Lab is a partnership with Alexis & Fido in which the duo will mentor four emerging artists attending the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards during a one-on-one session taking place inside the Radio Shack Music lab in Miami. From April 21-27, fans will be able to participate in the Music Lab by visiting www.RadioShack.com/rsmusiclab to cast their vote and help choose which one of the four up-and-coming artists will get the chance to win $5,000 and perform at an upcoming Alexis & Fido concert. Fans voting will automatically be entered for the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Alexis & Fido concert. Each person can vote once a day for a chance to win. Alexis & Fido’s sixth and most recent album La Esencia is #1 on the Billboard Latin Rhythm album chart. Their current single, “Alocate” also formed part of a national television commercial campaign for Radio Shack for the DECK by SOL REPUBLIC x Motorola in which Alexis & Fido participated alongside Michael Phelps, Steve Aoki and Lil Jon.
