My experience at the “2014 FIFA World Cup Wellness Tour” with Johnson & Johnson at Walgreens was fun and a healthy one too! It was a great idea for Walgreens to join forces with Johnson & Johnson during the summertime to share healthy essentials within the community. Loved the fact that Walgreens Way to Well bus travels the country and has professionals administer health tests like Total Cholesterol Tests, Blood Pressure Tests and Body Age Tests! I particularly was so happy to find out my body age came out to 29 LOL! The tests were truly appreciated, as I was a little worried about my Cholesterol, but it is good.
The event took place in Walgreens in the Doral area sponsored by Johnson & Johnson who gave out goodie bags with product samples, plus fun activities included meet and great with soccer star, German Villa. He was charming and sweet to all the kids that ran up to meet him. There were also the Club of Futboleros USA that are part of the traveling tour showing off their awesome soccer skills! They played and did cool tricks in the hot sun all day. The kids really loved watching them and attempting the Futbolero tricks while SAFE Kids organization was educating families on avoiding accidental childhood injuries, something very important to be wary of in the summer time! The whole event was hosted by Luisa Fernandez from Radio MIX98.3. Luisa is part of one of top MIX 98.3 morning Miami Radio shows with Enrique Santos, that is really funny and entertaining!
