Gente de Zonnnnnaaaa!
The beloved Cuban duo of the moment has finally released their highly anticipated album Visualízate.
Over the past two years, members Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom have achieved outstanding success collaborating with long-established artists like Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias (“Bailando” was the No. 10 bestselling single worldwide in 2014, selling 8 million copies). However, with the launch of Visualízate, the duo hopes to prove that they can go it as a stand-alone musical act without relying on collaborations to propel their career forward.
There is no doubt that they have already achieved this goal. In addition to the stratospheric hits we already know and love, among them Marc Anthony collaborations “Traidora” y “La Gozadera” that have a combined 300 million plus views, the album includes hot Gente de Zona originals that do not contain featured artists. “Algo Contigo” is the first single to be released from Visualízate that puts the Latin-Grammy winning duo on display all by themselves. Nonetheless, it is an immediate, absolute stand out and a guaranteed hit. We can’t wait to see them perform it live at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on April 28th!
Gente de Zona is a headliner for Billboard’s En Vivo concert series this year, performing on April 27th at The Fillmore Miami Beach. They will also perform alongside Marc Anthony during the opening de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina, for which they have four nominations, including three for “La Gozadera”–Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event, Digital Song of the Year, and Tropical Song of the Year. They are also nominated in the category Tropical Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.
