Influencer Marketing at @AHAA #AhaaFuture 2016

Last week, dressed by fabulous Venezuelan designer Viviana Gabeiras, I attended AHAA The Voice of Hispanic Marketing 2016 Annual Conference where Digital advertising was front and center with discussions about seamless integration of influencers who are changing the marketing landscape with unprecedented speed. I got to create interesting content and learn how media companies and brands are integrating Influencer Marketing into their overall strategy online.

The opening reception included an awesome performance with famous brother duo Mau and Ricky Montaner which set a wonderful tone for the next two days of the conference.

Next day I met Clorox , CMO Eric Reynolds  and asked him about influencer marketing:

I was fortunate to be sitting close to Wendy Clark, CEO DDB North America, and introduced myself right before her keynote at AHAA. Wendy was attentive as I talked about my global movement for women #BeNumberless. Cut to Wendy’s keynote and as she talked about content creators she mentioned my name!!! Grateful for the good impression I created in Wendy during our short conversation. Wendy is a brilliant mind who shared her 100 days experience in new CEO position at DDB North America with valuable insights to learn from. Wendy is an incredible role model that leads by example and walks the talk!!!

“Speed is the currency of business”. “Speed is impacting everything we do in advertising”

And talking about content creators another great panel titled: “Looked Into How Influencers Are New Taste-Makers Marketing Industry” with Luis Balaguer CEO Latin We, Ariadna Gutierrez Miss Colombia and Juan Pablo Zurita social media super star.


Juan Pablo talked about branded content and how his brand integrated seamlessly: 

Luis Balaguer had great information to share about the evolution of Latin We and TOP Latin American Influencers becoming HUGE Media Stars. Latin We has become a media company reaching millions and millions online through clever social media strategies. Loved this panel and enjoyed moderator and friend Raul García.
