El amor por la isla del encanto brilliantly shines through Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Sie7e, and what better way to celebrate el verano than with his sunny songs that make us all feel good?
Awarded the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2011, Sie7e has reached over 30 countries with his music. webcitygirls met up with him last year during one of our trips to Puerto Rico, where we did a super fun entrevista at La Concha Resort. Check it out here.
“Por Toda La Vida” is included on his 2014 album Relax and quickly became a fan favorite. He revealed that it was inspired by a disagreement with his wife and the thought of living without her. However, he dedicates the official video, which he produced and directed himself, to his adoring fans that have made the song a viral sensation by sharing their own versions en las redes.
The video features footage from Sie7e’s show “CholiBeach” at Puerto Rico’s Coliseo earlier this year, including the very special, personal moment when he proposed to his wife on stage. He also decided to include some of the animation that he drew for the lyric video, which was released last year, stating: “Mantuve parte de la letra dentro del video porque los fans han hecho este tema suyo y quiero continuar compartiendo con ellos las palabras que ya no son mías sino que ahora son de ellos, mezclado con imágenes de una de las noches más emocionantes e importantes en mi vida.” ¡Qué hermoso!
“Poor Toda La Vida” is now also available in a cool new acoustic version that emphasizes the influence of reggae on his musical style.
Fans in South America, get ready for the positive vibes of the Relax tour to come your way. He will be stopping in Argentina (September 23), Uruguay (September 24), and Chile (September 29), as well as other países, to sing his biggest hits like “Tengo Tu Love,” “Mucha Cosa Buena,” “So What,” “A Prueba de Amor, “Te Regalo Una Promesa,” y “Tocando el Cielo.”
