If you’re in the New York City area, Web City Girls invites you to join us at Jacob Javits Center in celebrating Hispanic Heritage at the fifth annual Festival People en Español!
The two-day event, which takes place on October 15 and 16, is themed ¡Únete a Nosotros! and focuses on empowerment, aiming to energize the Hispanic community, build civic engagement, and increase voting awareness. It concludes an action-packed week for Web City Girls in NYC. Free and open to the public, the Festival promises to be lots of fun with exciting musical performances by Reykon, Karol G, Kany García, and more!

Moderated by People en Español Fashion and Beauty Director Ursula Carranza, panel participants Laura Posada, Nina Vaca, Adamari López and Sylvia Acevedo will discuss the impact of empowerment on their careers, advocating for other Latinas and the Hispanic community, and Latin culture’s influence on their success.
The Festival will also address voting with a panel discussion on Sunday. Titled “Making Our Voice Count,” it will focus on the importance of voting and having one’s voice heard during the 2016 election.
