Lili Gil Valleta is the co-founder and CEO of CIEN+ a firm that helps leaders and Fortune 500 companies unlock the power of today’s diverse marketplace with big-data research, creativity and purpose. She is also the creator of Dreamers Ventures, a product innovation accelerator searching, mentoring and launching products created by Latinos on TV in partnership with HSN.
Lili Gil Valleta an immigrant from Colombia, award-winning entrepreneur, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a weekly TV contributor to various networks like Fox News, Fox Business, CNN en Español. Her work has been featured by Forbes, CNN Money, The Huffington Post, among others, and has made her the recipient of numerous awards including Top 40 Under 40 by PODER Magazine, LULAC Latina Achievement Award, New York’s Top 25 Rising Latinos.
Lucienne Gigante a communications, branding, crisis management and public relations expert. Advocate and leader for women’s economic development, she is co-founder of Access Latina, the first ever multi-market accelerator for Latinas in high- growth industries including STEAM, social innovation and agriculture serving New York, Washington DC, Puerto Rico and Florida.
Gigante is co-founder of Animus, a women’s innovation platform, which launched its first summit in Puerto Rico. She developed numerous successful corporate social responsibility platforms, such as “Women of Success” which created more than 40 new women-owned businesses and over 70 new jobs. Lucienne has received multiple awards including American Banking Association’s “Social Impact Award”, SME’s “Top Management Award” and PR News’ “Community Person of the Year.
Liz Blacker is EVP of Multicultural Strategy and Sales at iHeartMedia which reaches 93 percent of the Hispanic population in the U.S. and more Hispanics than any other media company. Prior to joining iHeartMedia, Liz was Chief Revenue Officer at Terra where she built the Hispanic and Pan-regional sales teams and oversaw revenue across multiple platforms with clients in the U.S. and Latin America. She also held other various roles including Senior Vice President of Digital Sales for ImpreMedia, where she built the national cross-platform sales team as well as Executive Director of Sales for U.S. Hispanic and Latin America for Yahoo! where she co-launched Yahoo’s U.S. Hispanic efforts.
Blacker is the co-Founder and co-Chair of Advertising Women in New York’s first “Multicultural Task Force” and is a Founding Board Member for both The Internet Advertising Bureau’s Multicultural Committee and ad:tech U.S. Hispanic/Latin America. She was the Founder/President of the International Advertising Association’s Under-30 Chapter and Secretary of the U.S. Chapter; on the Board of the Florida/Latin America Chapter; a recipient of Ad Age’s “Woman to Watch” Award; and is a frequent guest speaker and commentator on Hispanic and Multicultural media.
Carolina Santamarina is the General Manager and Vice President of Sales for Spanish Broadcast System, SBS Miami’s three station cluster (the largest publicly traded Hispanic-controlled media and entertainment Company in the United States). Carolina has been instrumental in creating and producing Miami Bash, one of the most recognizable Latin urban concerts in South Florida held at the American Airlines Arena. Miami Bash has become a brand synonymous with millennial Hispanics, and brands alike looking to tap into this vibrant demographic.
Santamarina is part responsible for creating Grand Slam Party Latino, which made history, being the first concert ever at Marlins Park in the heart of Little Havana, Miami. Sponsorship sales, spearheaded by Santamarina, for Grand Slam were record breaking for SBS Miami. In 2013, Radio Ink named Carolina Santamarina as one of “The Best Manager’s In America”. She has an innovative vision and passion for integrated sales creating executions that positively impact nontraditional revenue that resulted in increased ratings.
Our Moderator is Madelin Bosakewich the VP of Sales for IBT Media, a global digital news organization delivering news and insights to over 90 million monthly readers across the world. Bosakewich leads operations for the sales team, responsible for all aspects of IBT Media’s global and international sales strategies and client relationships representing IBT Media’s complete multi-platform media offerings.
Bosakewich previously served as Director of Business Development and Publisher Relations at Zoomin.TV. A veteran media professional also worked as US & International Sales Director for Televisa Publishing and Digital. She has a solid background working across media platforms, including print and digital, developing original branded experiences in a progressive and integrated sales approach.
