Romantic with @Tommy_Torres & @Daddy_Yankee #TuYYo

Wanting to stay true to his own style while collaborating with a reggaeton artist, “Tu y Yo” allows Torres to do just that. A romantic ballad, the track flawlessly combines Torres’ signature pop with DY’s sharp estilo urbano. Tommy y Daddy Yankee hablan sobre la canción aquí: The multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner revealed the single with Daddy Yankee during a Facebook Live event. Torres was recently nominated for two Latin Grammys as Producer and Engineer for his work on Jesse & Joy’s Un Besito Más and Andres Cepeda’s Mil Ciudades, which are both nominated for Album of the Year. Y estamos muy excited because Daddy Yankee will be honored with the 20th Anniversary Award at the 2016 Festival People en Español taking place on October 15 and 16! @webcitygirls and @MNGBlog dicen PRESENTES! Nat Geo Mundo Estrena La Cuba de Hoy Mañana

Need something to watch tomorrow night? Look no further than Nat Geo Mundo, which will be airing the first episode of its highly anticipated two-part special, La Cuba de Hoy. The special closes Nat Geo Mundo’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and offers viewers a look at the Cuba of today and the significant change that has occurred since President Barack Obama met with Raúl Castro in December of 2014. From the perspective of a first-time visitor to Cuba, Cuban-American anthropologist and National Geographic correspondent Mireya Mayor, we get an up-close look at age-old traditions, efforts to preserve a cherished essence, the evolution of a culture, and a return home after its evolution. A photo posted by Nat Geo Mundo (@natgeomundo) on Sep 15, 2016 at 7:41am PDT   Episode 1, “A Puertas Abiertas” (“Embracing Change”), airs tomorrow, October 2 at 8 PM ET/PT, and focuses on commerce and financial and technological enhancements, including the expansion of Wi-Fi as well as the challenges historic hotels and local restaurants now face in adapting to accommodate a growing amount of visitors. Episode 2, “Un Nuevo Son” (“A New Rhythm”), highlights the impact of restored U.S. relations in culture, discussing topics such as religion, art, and architecture. We will follow Mayor as she collects personal narratives that demonstrate the influence of recent visits from figures such as Pope Francis and engages in meetings with Cuban ballet dancer Alicia Alonso and artists like Willy Chirino, who share their stories and the impact that Cuba has had on their careers.

Uno de nuestros artistas méxicanos favoritos, Alejandro Fernández, brought us a beautiful new single este fin de semana that we can’t stop listening to! In a first-time collaboration with the award-winning Sinaloan composer Joss Favela, Fernández expands his musical boundaries in “Quiero Que Vuelvas” through genuine, nostalgic lyrics and a fresh modern sound. A fusion that blurs the border between the regional and pop genres, the track uniquely reflects the locations where it was recorded: Guadalajara, Los Angeles, and New York. It’s no wonder that it hit #1 in 10 countries in its first day of release! Fernández, who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, is one of Latin America’s most iconic artists and has garnered numerous awards, including two Latin Grammys and the Billboard Hall of Fame Award. “Quiero Que Vuelvas illustrates the strengths and weaknesses that exist in every single one of us–como pride, patience, and hope–and is sure to win over the hearts of many. It is the lead single from his upcoming album, which will be his first studio album since 2013, and follows the success of his recent albums Dos Mundos, Confidencias, and Confidencias Reales. After hearing esta hermosa canción, we are so excited to hear the rest of the album! Mira el video lírico de “Quiero Que Vuelvas” aquí. ¿A ustedes les encanta esta canción? ¡Déjanos saber!...

Viviana Gabeiras & Barbara Palacios Inspiring Women Through Fashion

If you’ve seen webcitygirls’ own Lynn Ponder rocking it at events and working it on la alfombra roja, then you’ve probably seen her fabulously dressed in the colorful creations of renowned Latina fashion designer and adorada amiga Viviana Gabeiras. @webcitygirls #lynnponder is wearing my premium line #Vivianagabeiras beautifully! #thanksforsharing #mesh #fabric #comfortable #cleanlook #lovepink #designer #Vivianagabeiras A photo posted by Petit Pois by Viviana G (@vivianagabeiras) on Aug 16, 2016 at 7:54am PDT The award winning Gabeiras has been impacting Miami’s fashion world for years through her contemporary designs, which have been featured in top publicaciones de moda such as Women’s Wear Daily. Recently, she teamed up with author, speaker, spokesperson, and Miss Universe Barbara Palacios for a new artistic dragonfly-inspired clothing collection that embodies the raw power of today’s women. Chicas, did you know that the dragonfly experiences una transformación maravillosa from nymph to winged beauty, and not only maintains flawless balance while in flight, but also maintains perfect horizontal balance while at rest? This beautiful balance and profound metamorphosis, which Palacios couples to that of human beings in her book The Beauty of Knowing How to Live, has both intrigued her and propelled her career, beginning on that night in 1986 when she wore two dragonflies pinned to her gala dress during the Miss Universe pageant. The majestic flight of the dragonfly now finds its fashion translation in her stunning collection at the hands of Gabeiras, who combines vibrant colors like magenta, turquoise, tangerine yellow, white, and black in a beautiful print. Very happy to share this news with all of you! And exciting to be part of this inspirational dream for @BarbaraPalacios_inspiration #dragonfly #spring2017collection #VivianaGabeiras #madeinusa🇺🇸 by #PetitPoisbyVivianaG thanks @MiamiFashionSpotlight @lissetterondon #inspirationalquotes #grateful❤️ #lifestyle A photo posted by Petit Pois by Viviana G (@vivianagabeiras) on Sep 8, 2016 at 7:20pm PDT We love the story behind this line as well as the inner beauty that radiates from the two strong, successful women behind its creation. Palacios was recognized as one of the most powerful women of 2014, according to People magazine, and was also recognized by the U.S. Congress as one of the most influential and respected Latin women in the USA. She now helps guide others to live a more beautiful life through her personal development platform 9 Pasos and is currently working on her third book. As a woman and entrepreneur, Gabeiras supports movement #BeNumberless and is a fantastic role model, using her influence to help numerous charities and empower women. She has taught at Miami’s University of Art & Design, and continues to mentor young designers while creating a “Made in USA” brand.
