A Trip to Detroit with #FordLatino during NAIAS

I feel very grateful when a brand like the Ford Motor Company considers and invites bloggers and influencers as part of a select group of journalists from around the Globe for the reveal of their latest innovations. Learned so much from this trip about how Ford is implementing virtual manufacturing technology providing healthy, safe productive work environment, met amazing journalists who are focused on information about a shareable economy, powerful talks about bio technology design, Ford’s high-tech autonomous vehicles the future of mobility and Ford’s 2017 Detroit Auto showcase was incredible. Harmony of the Seas is Unbelievable!

Can you believe that on no occasion before 2016 had I planned or been on a Cruise trip, considering how much I love the immensity and beauty of the sea. Being from Puerto Rico, naturally I have been on sailboats, participated in fabulous sailing regattas and cruised on some the most beautiful yachts throughout the Caribbean, but not ever with a Cruise Line. WebCityGirls is grateful for special press invite from two of the top Cruise Line’s in the World. This time a two-day adventure on Royal Caribbean inaugural press trip from Port Everglades to Nassau, Bahamas on the biggest and most innovative ship to date: Harmony of The Seas who joins joins Oasis class sister ships Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas. Aerial view of Harmony of the Seas’ water park: The trip started by exploring and discovering the amaZing 5,497-passenger ship with a 2,200 international crew working hard to deliver a phenomenal vacation for customers.  Attended a press conference where some of the words I heard Royal Caribbean Top Executives describe “Harmony of The Seas” as: “Unbelievable Biggest, Baddest, Sexiest, and Powerful”. Who certainly lived up to these words with the tallest slide at sea, onboard zip line, flow rider surf simulators, 7 distinct Neighborhoods, Vegas Style Casino, Robotic Bartenders. Entertainment from a Broadway hit musical to never seen beyond state-of-the-art technology over a ice rink performance to high-flying diving daredevils in the AquaTheater. Harmony has 8 Specialty Restaurants with over 200 different dishes served on a daily basis.  We had a wonderful private dinner at Coastal Kitchen, a venue just for Royal Suite Class and Pinnacle Club guests. Cocktails on the charming Solarium Bar terrace and danced salsa while sipping on latin inspired drinks at Boleros. Walking around the ship we discovered many different bars and restaurants including Central Park neighborhood covered by tropical plants, trees and beautiful walkways. Harmony of the Seas will sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, taking in the islands and the shores of Mexico. Here are some fun videos from around Harmony of the Seas: Bionic Bar encounter with a 2 robotic arm bartenders: Pool and Sports Boardwalk Video: Some friend influencers were invited throughout the week and we got lucky to share same trip and create a short video with TOP Mexican influencer Hector Trejo also known as “Bullysteria”. My favorite 1887 A Journey In Time Ice Skating Production: Visit royalcaribbean.com to book your next cruise and share your fun pictures with @webcitygirls okis!  ...

TOP 10 Favorites @CruiseNorwegian Escape

I love serendipity when it falls in my own lap, like when fortunateness knocked on my door getting invited by Norwegian Cruise Line Latin America Marketing Public Relations from NCL Argentina to share my experience aboard their ship as part of a collaboration with with top Argentinian influencer Lucia Ugarte, founder of the widely successful ChicasGuapasTV.com. As a matter of fact, it was my first-time-ever on Cruise Norwegian doing what I love most: inspiring goodness and happiness on social networks. One of our first treats aboard was attending a private reception to meet the captain, first mate and other ship officers. I did a short video interview with Norwegian Escape Captain Gunnar Hammerin , click here to view, he reveals interesting facts about his experience. Freestyle cruising is the order on the magnificent Norwegian Escape 8-Day FUN adventure through pristine beaches in the Caribbean. Built in 2015, the ship has an overall length of 1,069 feet and a guest capacity of 4,266, along with 1,733 friendly, caring and very helpful crew members. Can you imagine being surrounded by 28 fabulous dining options, 21 fun bars and styled lounges, 16 passenger decks, a quarter-mile oceanfront promenade, casino, aqua park, three-story sports complex, outstanding musical shows, indoor and outdoor movie theatre, extravagant theme parties, and a full gym facing the ocean bordered by a delightful spa and salon? Every minute of your cruise is full of enjoyment with the comfort of a hotel stay. Thankfully our Stateroom included a precious balcony, where I took the most amazing selfies, making it an enchanting experience in itself. Actually, I was sitting facing an immense stunning and vast ocean on our way to the Bahamas writing this post. The peace and happiness I felt on this balcony has no comparison to any vacation I have ever experienced before. It is an extraordinary feeling of tranquility for the mind and the soul to be in the middle of the infinite ocean. Truly, I had no idea this cruise would make my life happier. Some passengers I spoke to shared their thoughts, and ‘for them it’s about trying everything, doing everything, and having fun’. They also mentioned that they retained the ship as their resort of choice even more than picking by ports of call. In my case, I was thrilled with each port because it just added more enthusiasm and adventure to the vacation. My TOP 10 Aboard NORWEGIAN ESCAPE: Our Stateroom Balcony on the 14 Forward Deck. Login connect onboard internet services. Strolling The Waterfront oceanfront ship promenade surrounded by attractive bars and lounges. Food Republic by Pubbelly outstanding dining experience. (Please know some of the restaurants are premium and not complimentary. Prices were very reasonable...

Packing For A Successful Business Trip: 10 Must-Have Items

Frequent flyers who travel for business become expert packers. They know exactly what to take to enhance their stay and remain productive. Take a leaf out of their book and make sure your pack these must-have items. 1. Awesome Carry On Bag Arguably one of the most important travel items is your carry on bag. It needs to be small and light enough to meet airline standards. While at the same time it has to allow for multiple items. And it needs to be sturdy and withstand being dragged through numerous airports and taxi ranks. 2. Sleep Mask Always pack a sleep mask for the flight and hotel. It will block out unwanted light and help your body produce melatonin. This is the hormone that allows your body to fall asleep naturally. Some airlines will provide these for you. Check with your provider when you book your discount business class seats. Getting enough sleep will help you arrive at your conference or meeting looking fresh and rested. 3. Headphones / Earplugs Pro travelers will extol the virtues of a good pair of headphones. It’s worth paying a little extra for a pair that fit comfortably and cancel out external noise. They are invaluable for train journeys and flights. Earplugs are another option. 4. Slip-On Shoes If possible, wear comfortable slip-on shoes. These will get you through airport security quicker. And they are easy to slip off once you’re comfortably in your seat. Your feet can swell a little during flights, so it’s a good idea to wear shoes that have a little extra room. 5. Comfy Socks If you’re on a long haul-flight, you might as well make yourself comfortable. Slip off your shoes and settle back. Take a comfortable pair of socks that will keep your feet warm. Planes can feel very cold. 6.Lightweight Laptop You don’t want to be lugging around heavy tech. Take a lightweight laptop and load it up with all relevant documents. Even better, store your work on a cloud service like Google Drive. This will ensure it is accessible wherever you go. A local version can be downloaded to your devices for when there is no wifi. 7. E-Reader If you like to read, load up your e-reader with books. Opt for a version with a built-in reading light. This will save you valuable space in your carry-on luggage. 8. Day To Evening Clothing To save space in your suitcase, take outfits that will work for business and social events. Take smart, comfortable shoes if you are going to multiple locations. Your feet will thank you for it. 9. Pen And Notebook Though...

Time for the perfect getaway? Here are 5 decisions you need to make first.

Time for the perfect getaway? Here are 5 decisions you need to make first.

Decide on… your dates Your starting point should always be your dates. When can you take a break from work? From there, decide on your destination. Consider things like weather and natural occurrences, like hurricanes and monsoons. Also, think about when flight prices are likely to be lowest, and when accommodation will be quietest. Decide on… your destination How to decide on this one!? The world is huge and there is so much to choose from. Start by chatting to friends and family; is there anywhere they would highly recommend, or avoid going again? Watch the news; are their any current troubles you should be aware of, or virus outbreaks? And what about your budget? Often this can massively dictate where you do and don’t go. Once you’ve considered all of these things, your list of vacation ideas will likely be much smaller. Decide on.. your accommodation There is so much variety now when it comes to picking the style of accommodation you will stay in. You could go classic, like a whistler hotel or a beach villa. Or, you could go for something quirky, like a mountain-side yurt! Consider what is important to you. If you like a big and comfortable bed and a reliable shower, you might be happiest in a luxury hotel. Decide on…. your transport Even if you have booked your flights by now, chances are you’ll need more transport at least somewhere. It’s pretty unlikely you live within walking distance of your airport, after all! Planning your other transport ahead of time is likely to save you money. Book your train tickets, your coach travel or your taxis. Then, make a backup. Say, for instance; you’ve planned to take a taxi to the airport for an early morning flight. You need to make a plan for what will happen if your taxi doesn’t show. First off, store some extra local taxi numbers in your phone. Then, speak to a friend in the local area and ask if they’d be able to help you out should the worst happen. Good planning like this means you can put your mind at rest. Also, consider your transport on the other side. You might not have immediate access to WIFI where you are headed. If you need to take the bus to your accommodation, for example, find out where the bus stop is. Find out the bus number you need and the times it runs. Again, plan a backup solution. Decide on… your packing Most long-haul flights come with a large hold suitcase allowance anyway. If this is the case, you can pack far more liberally. However, if...
