Our Puerto Rican Day Parade Playlist 2016

@webcitygirls dijo PRESENTE en NYC’s Puerto Rican Day Parade and to keep the celebration going there’s no better way than with a playlist of songs from our favorite artists with Puerto Rican roots. “Vivir Mi Vida”-Marc Anthony Get the party going with one of Marc Anthony’s biggest éxitos! “Vivir Mi Vida” quickly became an anthem, and it’ll have you dancing all day and all night.   “Somos Uno”-Yandel Yandel brings us lots of positivity with “Somos Uno.” Produced by Nesty La Mente Maestra, producer of hits such as Wisin & Yandel’s “Estoy Enamorado” and Alexis y Fido’s “Santa de Mi Devoción,” it’s a can’t-miss track from Yandel’s second solo album, Dangerous.   “Adrenalina”-Wisin, Ricky Martin, & J. Lo Sube la adrenalina! Reggaetonero Wisin teamed up with two of the biggest stars in Latin pop to form a dynamic collaboration, creating an impressive hit that will withstand the test of time.   “Que Suenen Los Tambores”-Victor Manuelle Esta canción hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart last year. Forget about your troubles and lose yourself in the music porque los tambores están sonando!   “Rompe La Cintura”-Alexis y Fido Alexis y Fido + MadMusick = magic, no?   “Lovumba”-Daddy Yankee “Lovumba” was one of the many hits that came from the mega album Prestige. It’s an energetic track perfect for dancing, whether in the club or at the gym.   “Soy Libre”-Ivy Queen ft. Jowell & Randy Ivy Queen was one of the first to give women a voice in the male-dominated realm of reggaeton, and we’re so glad she did! La reina brings it hard with “Soy Libre,” an empowering song with an addicting beat.   If you were in NYC at the PR Parade please let us know “como la pasaron”!!!    ...

Hope you enjoy my first blog post specially now that Valentine’s Day is almost here! How are you celebrating? From Colombia to Puerto Rico, this list of love songs will give you the perfect soundtrack for that special day. 1. “Tengo Un Amor”-Maluma ft. Leslie Grace Maluma + bachata = perfection. “Tengo Un Amor” shows the gentle side of Maluma that we now get to see more of thanks to his chart-topping album Pretty Boy Dirty Boy. You’ll fall in love with this song, no matter if you’re single or taken. 2.”A Quién Quiero Mentirle”-Marc Anthony No Valentine’s Day playlist filled with tropical songs would be complete without a little Marc Anthony! “A Quién Quiero Mentirle” is always a fan favorite and will have you happily singing to Marc’s tune all night. 3.”Las Cosas Pequeñas”-Prince Royce Prince Royce may be flying high off the success of his English-language crossover, but his bachata tracks will always reign supreme. “Las Cosas Pequeñas,” featured on his sophomore album Phase II, is a sweet dedication to the little things that make you fall in love. 4.”Tus Besos”-Juan Luis Guerra Who doesn’t love Juan Luis Guerra? “Tus Besos” is romantic and dreamy with a throwback vibe and an adorable video that goes along with it. It’s an absolute must for your playlist! 5.”No Te Pido Flores”-Fanny Lu Fanny Lu made a HUGE comeback last year with “El Perfume,” and there’s no better way to celebrate her return than revisiting her debut album Lagrimas Cálidas. 2016 looks like it will be even more fruitful for Fanny than 2015, with a music video on the way for her latest single “Lo Que Dios Quiera,” a mega collaboration with Cuban duo Gente de Zona and latino music producer Maffio. Goya Foods Announces “LetsGiveToKids”

We attended press conference in Chicago where Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic owned food company in the United States, launched “Lets Give to Kids” program to raise funds for The Maestro Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization established by Marc Anthony and Henry Cardenas, dedicated to helping homeless and neglected children in developing Latin American countries. For every can of GOYA Refried Beans/Frijoles Refritos sold during the month of October 2015, Goya will donate fifteen cents to help build the Casa Hogar Alegría Orphanage in Toluca, Mexico. Marc Anthony thanks Goya Foods and the press covering announcement: The Toluca, Mexico facility, set to open in early 2016, will serve 70 girls in the area, providing shelter and schooling to orphans who previously had access to neither. It is the third orphanage opened by Maestro Cares since the start of the foundation in 2012. The support that Goya Foods has provided throughout the years has been admirable and valuable to the organization”, says famous artist, Marc Anthony. “Without the support from partners like Goya, it would be very difficult for Maestro Cares to accomplish all that it has in such a short period of time. We are grateful for all the support we have received from Goya Foods. The are valuable partners that have committed their time and heart to the organization.” Henry Cardenas, Marc Anthony, Rafael Toro y #webcitygirlsEnChicago Vanessa Torrres You can make a difference in the lives of children in need by just walking into participating stores and purchasing your can of GOYA Refried Beans during the month of October. Show you support online by using #LetsGiveToKids and tag @GoyaFoods @MaestroCares. For more info visit: goya.com/letsgive  ...
