Nicky Jam is Unstoppable!

This past week everywhere we turned there was something happening involving Nicky Jam. From the coveted cover of Billboard to a super fun interview during Latin Billboard Music Conference where Nicky Jam and his best friend, J Balvin took over an interview with Leila Cobo during the Superstar “One on One” panel, dropping some beats during a full-house. #BBLatin pic.twitter.com/adihiB6Wzs — webcitygirls (@webcitygirls) April 26, 2017 Some insights from Nicky Jam that captured out attention: “When I want to make music, I create the beat first then I add the lyrics,” Nicky Jam “We made history. Two Latin urban singers on the cover of Billboard is incredible. I’m proud of myself, I’m proud of J Balvin, our music and of all Latinos,” Nicky Jam As part of a fun music week in Miami, Pandora hosted “Noche de Musica” a private and free pop-up concert style with performances by ChocQuibTown and Nicky Jam as part of celebrating Latin Billboard Music Awards finalists. Oh and if I did not mention this before, please know that there were other parties, private concerts and so much going on, it was hard to keep up. It is interesting how Pandora’s unique ability to determine which artists will resonate best with local listeners by analyzing musical preferences, stations created and thumbed-up songs allows them to extend invitations to listeners who have demonstrated an affinity for their identified artist. To end the week of celebration Nicky Jam was the BIG winner at Billboard Latin Music Awards taking home six awards: Hot Latin Song of the Year – “Hasta el Amanecer” Digital Song of the Year – “Hasta el Amanecer” Streaming Song of the Year – “Hasta el Amanecer” Hot Latin Song Artist of the Year Airplay Song of the Year – “Hasta el Amanecer’ Artist of the Year!!!
